Valencia CF Academy aims to defend title at JSSL PRO 7s in Singapore
VCF Cadete A and VCF Femenino C & D will defend their titles at Asia’s Premier Youth Tournament
The Valencia CF Academy sets its sights on defending its crown at the JSSL Pro 7s in Singapore, the largest grassroots football tournament in Asia. The club returns to the prestigious event after winning both the boys' and girls' categories in the last two editions. The tournament also benefits from the support of LaLiga.
From April 17 to 20, VCF Cadete A and VCF Femenino D will represent the club in this international U16 competition, which in 2025 will feature elite teams such as Villarreal CF, Borussia Dortmund (Germany), Tottenham Hotspur (England), Sporting CP (Portugal), and Melbourne City (Australia). In its earlier phases, the tournament brings together 450 teams and 6,000 players from 15 countries.

"It’s a tournament that..." says Vicente Amposta, coach of VCF Cadete A, who has led the team to back-to-back titles in Singapore. The side arrives in top form and could be crowned Cadete Autonómica champions—the highest youth category in the Valencian Community—this April.
In the JSSL Pro 7s, VCF Cadete A will debut against Persib Bandung from Indonesia and wrap up the group stage with a clash against Villarreal CF, in a format played on reduced-size pitches and shorter match durations.
